The Littlecote Soap Co. began when Elaine Stavert left her busy city job in television production and escaped to the English countryside in search of a more peaceful, pollution-free life.

Having moved next to a farm in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by hedgerows and meadows, and with an interest in herbalism and aromatherapy, Elaine set about developing a range of natural toiletries and bath products that were kind to the skin and quintessentially English.

Inspired by the countryside and country life, the innovative products use natural ingredients in imaginative ways to produce traditional recipes with contemporary twists. After months of experimentation and market research, the bath products were "Certificated" by Cosmetic Chemists to comply with EU Regulations. The Littlecote Soap Co. was then formed with Business Partner Pearl Olney at Littlecote Farm, a working farm in the heart of the English countryside.

With an added interest in photography and design, Elaine has also photographed and designed a range of gift cards, gift tags and postcards to co-ordinate with each of the ranges.

Several years on The Littlecote Soap Co. has expanded and now employs a team of production staff who still hand-make, hand-cut and hand-wrap each product to ensure the highest quality.

The products are stocked by many outlets throughout the UK and are also available from our Farm Shop where visitors can view ingredients, and sometimes see the products being handmade in our workshops. Products are also available to purchase online or by telephone on 01525 240927
